·I solemnly announce that open beta closes now! Thank you all for participating in the open beta and of course congratulations for the two open beta heroes that achieved the highest level 46! The open beta have shown that the current content is stable and the game had huge interest during the open beta announcement. During the 7 days period the game website was visited by more than 2000 unique visitors and there we had a little bit more than 100 unique players logged in to the game which 60% of all of them have achieved levels and tested the game truly! I am honestly glad and thankful for all of you!
What are the findings of the open beta?
It was undoubtful from the very beginning that the game is lacking end-game content and other UI/UX improvements so this is the pack of changes that will be under development till the server launch.
- Interactive tutorial which helps for player to build first buildings and understand the mechanics of the game.
- There will be new special heroes-troops. Which will be very costly to purchase and you may purchase only a single of them. The special hero-troop will be a great fighter companion and will have special fighting mechanics.
- New every type military building troops will be introduced as a end-content expensive troops. Like Promoted Magic Archer, Promoted Knight, Promoted Swordsman and other. Those promoted type troops will be accessible only achieving specific level and at a higher cost.
- Attacking other players are too easy and also being attacked takes a little cost. For that reason, on fortress siege you may take other player resources only after you kill the new special hero-troop. Also when your troops dies in the siege battle they will be removed from the barrack slots. That means expensive troops that were killed will make a huge loss and for this reason the fortress protection will play huge role and to be protected will be a mandatory routine at higher levels.
- Every single current spell will have ability to be upgraded for cost of money. Also, every spell upgrade will have different features like casting multiple shots, deal stronger damage or simply heal more health or mana. Because of that some duplicating-enchanted spells will be removed like haste and strong haste for reason the haste spell can be simply upgradable. Also, I have in mind to introduce AOE spells.
- Lastly, rework of every modal windows to be more user friendly and fill the missing bits of content as a second level resource buildings.
All in all, I believe that after implementing the described features and stabilizing every bit of content. The server will be officially launched to production. So stay tuned! I will keep the dev log up to date as much I can and I believe that real server launch is coming soon!
